We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, a company based in and operating under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047) Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to confirm whether the data entries on our websites (e.g. on a contact form) are performed by a person or an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of visitors to the website upon the basis of several characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the visitor enters the website. To conduct the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates different items of information (e.g. the IP address, the length of the visitor’s stay on the website and the mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is sent to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses are conducted entirely in the background. Visitors to the website are not informed that an analysis is being carried out.
The data processing is performed exclusively upon the basis of art. 6, paragraph 1(f) of the GDPR (General Data Protraction Regulation). The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its offers on the website from abusive automated espionage and spam.
